COVID-19 and Traveling to Aruba
All visitors (including children) will be required to complete the online Embarkation/Disembarkation card process and be approved in order to be permitted entry to Aruba.The new ED card process includes five components. Do take note carefully, as there are important steps, and visitors will not be granted access to Aruba without completing the process. Note: You will need a valid passport and a valid email address that you have access to.

Upon successful completion of the ED card process, travelers will receive an email confirmation of approval for travel, that must be shown either digitally or in printed form, at check in.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government of Aruba must ensure that all visitors are properly insured. The Aruba Visitors Insurance is a mandatory insurance that helps protect visitors against incurred medical and non-medical expenses if testing positive for COVID-19 during their stay in Aruba.
Effective August 1, 2021, a flat premium of $15 is charged for stays not exceeding 180 days. This applies to visitors ages 15 and older. Children under 15 years receive free coverage. Please check this link for the latest information on Aruba Visitor’s Insurance.
As soon as you’ve completed the ED-Card form and payment, you will receive an email with your Aruba Visitors Insurance policy documents attached.
As of January 18, 2022, Aruba implemented new testing requirements for travelers from high-risk and very-high risk countries that impact the timeframe needed for testing.
- Travelers from high-risk countries (U.S. and Canada) must complete an antigen test one day prior or a PCR test two days prior to their arrival in Aruba and present a negative result.
- Travelers from very high-risk countries must complete a test 24 hours prior to their arrival in Aruba and present a negative result.

Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusives’ mask policies are applicable to all individuals, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, and are in accordance with the requirements of the Aruba government and Aruba Ministry of Health as well as guidance from the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC).
- All in-house guests are not required to wear masks in any of the resort’s indoor or outdoor dining venues, restaurants, bars or other facilities.
- Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusives employees, taxi drivers, vendors and partners are required to wear a face mask on resort properties while indoors and outside.
NEW: Beginning December 6, 2021, all U.S. citizens, regardless of vaccination status, will need to present a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 1 day before international travel to the United States. All air passengers 2 years or older with a flight departing to the US from a foreign country are required show a negative COVID-19 viral test result taken no more than 1 day before travel, or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days, before they board their flight.
Travelers from other countries should check their local government reentry requirements.
You have the option to go to the on island isolation facility or to stay at the resort. If you chose to stay at the resort, we will provide a special rate and in-room dining services to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Guests testing negative have the option to stay with their travel companion(s) as well.
All visitors will be required to comply with the Government of Aruba procedures and protocols if showing symptoms and/or testing positive for COVID-19 while in Aruba. The mandatory requirements will include isolation, possible relocation and a quarantine for close contacts.

GETTING AROUND ARUBA
RESORT INFORMATION
The Divi Aruba room categories are 1. Gardenview rooms, 2. Beachside Casita rooms (next to beach but do not have ocean views), 3. Poolview rooms, 4. Oceanview rooms, and 5. Oceanfront Lanai rooms (right on the beach with ocean views). The Oceanfront Lanai rooms are the resort's best rooms. There are only 20 Oceanfront Lanai rooms, with 10 on the first floor and 10 on the second floor.
Any room category at the Divi Aruba includes use of all facilities and features including restaurants, bars and other services at the adjacent Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive.
The Tamarijn Aruba rooms are all oceanfront, in two story buildings and steps to the beach.
All Tamarijn Aruba guests have full use of the features and facilities of the adjacent Divi Aruba. At both resorts each room has either a king bed or two queen beds. The rooms at Divi Aruba are slightly larger than those at the Tamarijn Aruba. Each has a patio or balcony.
RESTAURANTS & BARS
At the buffet restaurants breakfast is served between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM, lunch between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM and dinner between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM.
The a la carte restaurants serve dinner only between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM.
The snack bars serving sandwiches, pizzas and other snacks are open between 11:00 AM and 1:00 AM.
Dinner reservations are required for a la carte restaurants. Reservations can be made for two days in advance once on property at the guest services desk.
The Resorts cook with vegetable oil.
The Resorts cannot be held responsible for guests receiving wheat or peanut in their food. There are other alternatives on the menu and sample menus can be viewed on our website. The Food & Beverage manager is available to aid you with food selections on property.
For any food allergy concerns or special requests, please ask for the chef on duty at any of our restaurants for assistance with your food preparation. Our chefs are available to assist with any of your needs, and if necessary will prepare special dishes to ensure your satisfaction during your stay.Our all inclusive bars offer guests a wide selection of fine spirits including Captain Morgan, Jameson, Absolute, Kentucky Bourbon and much more. Mixologists at all of our 8 beach or pool side bars prepare refreshing tropical drinks, frozen or over ice. Select wines and champagne are also available along with refreshing beers on tap.

We understand that travel can be complicated these days. To help make things simple, we’re offering guests the ability to reschedule their vacation for any reason, free of charge.
Change with Confidence Policy
Guests can reschedule their stay through December 20, 2022 and the existing rate at the time of the original booking will be honored. We fully support any guest’s decision to alter their travel plans due to unforeseen circumstances.
New bookings taken July 9, 2021 or later – A one (1) night deposit will be charged at the time of booking. Thirty (30) days prior to arrival the remaining balance will be charged. Cancellations made prior to 30 days will receive a refund of the deposit, less a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made at 30 days or less are subject to a one (1) night penalty.
Should winter weather conditions affect your flight into or out of Aruba and you wish to inform us of a change in your travel plans we ask that you contact our US Reservations office at 1-800-554-2008. When leaving a message – please provide your reservation booking name, hotel, your current dates of travel and the dates that you wish to change due to a flight cancellation, as well as a telephone number where you can be reached. Every attempt will be made to assist in accommodating changes in travel dates should hotel occupancy levels permit. Guests who are currently staying at the hotels who are unable to depart Aruba are asked to speak directly to our Front Desk staff at the resort for assistance and travel updates.
