Thanks to the unwavering support of each and every Aruban on our One Happy Island and all our Visitors, we had the pleasure of celebrating an unprecedented milestone this month.
Aruba welcomed its 1 millionth stay-over visitor on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. This is a first in our One happy history, and we couldn’t be prouder.

1. Use People as Props
While many budding photographers tend to avoid getting a fellow tourist in their travel photos, adding people to your landscape can be very effective. In this photo of the Grand Canyon, the crowd of tourists not only adds color and perspective to the scene, it also has a psychological impact on the viewer. It's easier to imagine yourself on the rim of the Grand Canyon by relating to the crowd in the photo. Don't avoid people....use them as props!

The Netherlands positively cruised into the finals of Brazil 2014, coming through as Europe's the joint-top point scorers - alongside Germany - on 28, with their 2-2 draw against Estonia the only minor blemish on a near-faultless campaign. At times they were absolutely purring, in no game more so than their 8-1 defeat of Hungary, while Germany were the only side on the continent to score more goals than their 34.
