On Thursday, February 14th, Aruba took over Times Square. A heated white sand beach, Fofoti tree and lawn chairs magically appeared in the middle of Times Square as part of the ‘Free Love in Times Square’ event. Aruba was honored to be the official sponsor for the Valentine’s Day event. On December 24th Aruba’s first tram was inaugurated. The celebration in downtown Oranjestad was attended by hundreds of speculators excited about the new mode of transportation available for tourists and locals alike. The tram is a free service that will service popular locations in the downtown area including the Archeological museum and Mambo Plaza.
