On Thursday, February 14th, Aruba took over Times Square. A heated white sand beach, Fofoti tree and lawn chairs magically appeared in the middle of Times Square as part of the ‘Free Love in Times Square’ event. Aruba was honored to be the official sponsor for the Valentine’s Day event. Aruba celebrated its 59th Annual Grand Carnaval Parade on February 10th. ‘Carnavalistas’ took to the streets to show off beautiful costumes, body pieces, road pieces and floats. Ten groups and over 1800 partygoers danced their way through the San Nicolas downtown area, in a parade that was opened by Royal Carnaval Group, featuring the 2013 Carnaval Queen.
